Autumn Equinox Ritual & Fire Ceremony. Fri 22nd Sept. 6.30-9.30pm
We invite you to this Autumn Equinox Ritual & Fire Ceremony. Also known as Mabon, the Autumn Equinox is a time of duality, balance, intention and gratitude. We give thanks for the fruits of the Earth and a recognition of the need to share them to secure the blessings of the Goddess and God during the winter months.
Traditionally a festival centred around crops, food and abundance; we will start our ritual with a food alter, to honour the harvest of the summer and abundance all around. We give thanks. Please bring some food for your alter in the form of; apples, walnuts, pumpkins, dried corn, seasonal orange/red/yellow flowers, blackberries, or anything from your garden!
Hosted by Adalet Salaheddin and Mantis Oras we will then offer our intentions and bring gratitude in sacred space to Grandfather Fire. With medicine song, celebration, drumming and chanting.
Optional, If you wish to join us, stay sat around the fire into the night and camp you are welcome as you have the opportunity to combine this event with the sweatlodge the morning after. See website for the Sweat Lodge, Sat 23rd Sept.
Come be part of this beautiful experience of giving and receiving, balance and joy and enjoyment!
