Yawanawá: Concert and Hapé Circle, Wed 23rd July, 7-10pm
Anatta Sensorium and the Aho community are honoured and excited to welcome the Yawanawá family of Pekã Rasu, son of the Pajé Yawanarí, his daughter Paka Shahu and son Yawavêne with Pakavuva, from the space Pekã Rasu and Yawanarí village located on the Gregorio river Acre, Brazil, for a special Concert and Hapé circle.
The Yawanawá are an Indigenous tribe who carry and share the ancient wisdom they have received over many generations and that is deeply rooted in the teachings of the heart of the rainforest and Mother Earth.
An important aspect of Yawanawá culture is their ancient healing practices. They are also specialists in the techniques of traditional art and crafts, chanting, playing music, translating the ancient wisdom into a modern interpretation.
The Evening will consist of:
Wisdom sharing and storytelling from their culture
Sacred Chants & Concert
Hapé circle
